Cabot S•P•F 36: provides a level of water-repellency and U.V. protection beyond conventional wood treatments. It can be applied just hours after rain or surface washingot because of its moisture-friendly (hydrophilic) water-based resin system that actually uses surface moisture to penetrate and level.   USE THE S•P•F-1 Cleaner & Conditioner is the essential first step in the S•P•F system. This pre-treatment both cleans the surface to be coated and actually opens the wood pores for maximum penetration and performance of S•P•F Finishes.
