Cabots Solid Color Oil-based Decking Stains combine maximum color and U.V. protection with a tough, alkyd resin. These tough, long-lasting oil stains provide one-coat unsurpassed protection from foot traffic and wear. Solid Color Stains provide excellent adhesion to new, previously stained or painted surfaces, which are in a clean, sound condition. Solid Color Decking Stains are ideal for use on most types of lumber including redwood, cypress, pine and fir, as well as pressure-treated wood. Oil decking stains #1600 and #7600 are also excellent for mahogany, cambara, meranti, and other exotic wood species.
