Cabot Preservative Wood Finish 4300. Lightly pigmented, deep penetrating, natural linseed oil-based stain. Protects wood from rot and decay, plus mold/mildew growth. Deep penetrating finish for long term protection. VOC compliant in all markets. EPA registered pesticide/mildewcide to kill mold, mildew and fungus on the surface and under the coating. For use on decks, siding and fences. Preservative and Semi-Transparent in One. Cabot Preservative Wood Finish penetrates deep into wood to provide long lasting protection. This Semi-Transparent stain is fortified with wood preservative to kill and resist mildew, mold and fungus growth. Durable and water repellent it is excellent for all exterior applications such as; decks, siding, fences, trim and especially rough-sawn siding. Recommended for exterior above grade application only. Where to Use, For use on decks, siding and fences. Do not apply over previously painted or sealed surfaces, metal, masonry or adjacent to fresh stucco. Do not thin this product. Not intended for interior surfaces. For exterior above grade use only. Coverage, On smooth surfaces, approximately 450-650 square feet per gallon; on rough surfaces, 200-300 square feet per gallon. These rates will vary depending upon the porosity of the surface.
